Welcome to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church

Whether you are visiting from another parish, another city, renewing your faith after an absence or just considering to return home to the Catholic Church, we are pleased to have you visit our website. We also hope you will be able to come and worship with us. Hopefully you will find our parish a source of spiritual comfort and inspiration.

The church is open on Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with Daily Mass at 12:10 p.m. (rosary at 11:50 a.m.). Masses are at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Confession is heard on Saturday between 4:15 and 4:45 p.m. or by appointment. If your absence has been for a while, you may find some things have changed during the celebration of Mass as well as Holy Days of Obligation. While all Catholics are obliged to attend Mass on Sundays, there are now just two additional Holy Days of Obligation in Canada – Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Jan. 1 (Feast of Mary, Mother of God).

The wording of some of the prayers has changed, but by following the Mass using the Sunday Missals found in the pews, you will feel “right at home”. You will discover in-depth information on prayer, spirituality, sacraments and ministries as well as details about our parish – staff biography, parish history, photos from parish events, etc. You will also discover links to many wonderful Catholic/Christian sites and organizations.
Thank you for visiting with us – whether in the church itself or on our website. We hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will join us again soon.

The New Parish Lift
I am pleased to inform you that the new lift is now fully approved and operational. All the parish staff have keys to the lift and can assist you if you need to use the lift. Over the next few weeks, the parish ushers, along with other parishioners, will be trained on its use so that there should always be a sufficient number of people who can assist anyone needing to use it.

- Msgr. Jim Hannah
